ARSENAL wonder boy, Alex Iwobi, Watford striker, Isaac Success, Trabzonspor’s Ogenyi Onazi, Wolverhampton goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, FC Porto defender, Chidozie Awaziem and new invitee Noah Bazee of Hannover ’96 are the early arrivals at the Super Eagles’ Crowne Plaza camp in London on Monday, ahead of Nigeria’s friendlies against the Teranga Lions of Senegal and the Stallions of Burkina Faso.
The friendly against Senegal will be played on Thursday at the Hive Stadium, London while it will be the turn of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) bronze winners, Burkina Faso, four days later also in London.
The arrival of the six players in the camp was announced through the Super Eagles, official twitter handle Nigeria Super Eagles @NGSuperEagles, on Monday afternoon.
“Already in camp are Chidozie Awaziem, Isaac Success, Ogenyi Onazi, Carl Ikeme, Bazee Noah and Alex Iwobi,” it stated.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel forward, John Ogu has also arrived at the Eagles’ London Camp.
Also yesterday, Leicester City forward and Eagles assistant captain, Ahmed Musa landed in the camp alongside club mate, Wilfred Ndidi; KAA Gent of Belgium winger Moses Simon and Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus defender, Shehu Abdullahi bringing the total number of players in the camp to 11, at the time of this report.
It is believed that the majority of the Super Eagles players invited for the friendlies would have arrived in London before dinner also on Monday.
