Arsene Wenger has been in talks with Kylian Mbappe’s father, Wilfried, and according to the Mirror, the Gunners boss has swayed the young striker to join the Emirates.
With Real Madrid chasing the starlet, Wenger warned the 18-year-old’s father about the danger of being starved of first-team football at the Bernabeu, while enjoying an important role in the squad at Arsenal.
The only thing missing is the money, which does not seem to be an issue for Arsenal any more. The north London side are lining up a staggering 125 million-pound bid to sign the hottest property in European football.
A record-breaking amount which will surely convince Monaco, and end the preconception of Arsenal being a ‘selling club’.
