Manchester City are believed to be considering using one of their top players in exchange for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
According to reporrts in the ‘Daily Star’, Manchester City are said to be prepared to swap Sergio Aguero for Arsenal’s Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.
Indeed, the English newspaper claims that discussion have already taken place between the two sides about a potential swap deal.
28-year-old Sanchez is said to be City’s top attacking target this summer, and with only one year left on his Arsenal contract, the ‘gunners’ know they have a difficult decision to make.
Sanchez was Arsenal’s stand-out player in disappointing season last time out, scoring 31 goals in all competitions.
Aguero on the other hand appeared to have lost his untouchable status at City, with Pep Guardiola occasionally preferring Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal are on the look out for a striker this summer and with reports that Lyon will not accept less than £57million for Alexandre Lacazette, a swap deal of this type may be the ideal solution.
