CHAN Eagles star, Stephen Eze has been named in the Team-of-the-Week after featuring in just two games for Lokomotiv Plovdiv FC in the Bulgarian top flight.
The Nigeria defender who made his debut for Lokomotiv two weeks ago against Pirin Blagoevgrad FC last Sunday gave his best during the away clash with Slavia Sofia to earn a place in the team of the week.
Eze, who joined Lokomotiv mid last month said he was ready to add values to the club, just as he praised the coaching crew for believing in him.
“Obviously, I’m very excited. I want to work harder and move the team up the tabe.
“I really want to thank the coaches, my teammates and of course, the club supporters for all they have done for me since I came into this club. It’s highly inspiring.
“I know with this modest achievement, it would inspire me to do more for my club in subsequent matches,” the former Kano Pillars defender, who won the Man of the Match award against Guinea at the just-ended 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco said.
