AC Milan are being linked with a double raid on Chelsea with Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill reported to be the targets.
Cahill has struggled for regular first-team action Stamford Bridge this season following the arrival of Maurizio Sarri, and has played just 21 minutes in the Premier League.
That is not good enough for Cahill, who at the age of 32, is desperate to play first-team football and is expected to push for a move when the transfer window opens again.
Milan stars Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio, Mattia Caldara, Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura are all currently on the sidelines and reinforcements are needed.

Milan could offer to take Cahill on loan until the end of the season, when he will then be out of contract, before snapping him up on a free transfer. While the option is also there to snap him up permanently for a nominal fee when the window opens.
Meanwhile, Spanish midfielder Fabregas is also up for grabs with some reports claiming that talks have already started over a deal to bring him to the San Siro.
