Cristiano Ronaldo will have thew chance to defend himself against allegations of several counts of tax fraud between 2011 and 2014, according to sources of the High Court of Justice in Madrid (TSJ).
The High Court also assured that the Portugal international will declare behind closed doors, though around 125 journalists from over ten countries have already contacted the TSJ press office in an attempt to witness the Madrid striker as he is summoned to appear in court.
The case against CR7 is still at an early stage of investigation, but it is the first chance the 32-year-old will have to clear the air amid ongoing tax fraud accusations.
