THIS year’s Champions League final at the Principality Stadium may be played under a closed roof due to fear of a potential attack.
The showpiece occasion takes place in Cardiff on June 3 and there is set to be greater security than normal around the fixture.
UEFA have held talks with security officials at the stadium, which has a capacity of 74,500, to discuss what action could be taken for the most important club game in European football.
According to English newspaper The Sun, talks were even held to prevent a potential drone or aerial attack of some sort.
Additional measures have been put in place for games around the world following the attack on Borussia Dortmund’s team bus prior to their Champions League fixture against Monaco.
It was so severe that defender Marc Bartra suffered ligament damage to his arm and was forced to undergo surgery on the injury.
