10 football legends who never got red card

Raúl González Blanco

The former Spain captain became a legend at Real Madrid before playing for Schalke 04, Al Sadd, and New York Cosmos. In intense matches and derbies, Raúl kept his emotions in check and never received a red card.

Stanley Matthews

An England legend, Matthews played for Stoke City, Blackpool, and Toronto City. He competed for over three decades in a very physical era of football, but never picked up a single card. 

Andrés Iniesta

Karim Benzema

The French striker rose to fame at Lyon before becoming a legend at Real Madrid and later joining Al-Ittihad. Despite constant physical challenges from defenders, he stayed focused and never crossed the disciplinary line.

Gaetano Scirea

Scirea played for Atalanta and Juventus and was a key figure for Italy. As a defender, he faced top attackers week after week but remained calm and clean. Throughout his career, he was never shown a red card.

Michel Platini

Dominique Rocheteau
