Wilfred Ndidi
Wilfried Ndidi believes Leicester City’s season will be determined by their performances in the busy year-end.
The 20-year-old who has played in all 13 of Leicester’s English Premier League fixtures is set for the season-determining period.
“I am looking forward to it,” Ndidi told LCFC TV.
“Some players may feel fatigued, but it is the time of year when we have to do our best and get as many points as we can.
“It is an important time of the season with a lot of games; we know that the performances we put in and the results we get will determine where we finish in the league.”
Ndidi joined Leicester City from Genk in January and fast approaching his one year anniversary, the combative midfielder has reflected on his time, so far, with the King Power Stadium outfit
“It’s been amazing, I can’t lie. Last season, there was a lot of change for us. We were at the bottom but we then did more in the league so the 12 months has been good,” he said.
“You learn so much playing in England. The pace, the experience, the players; it all helps me to learn.
“Sometimes you think a player is about to do one thing and then they come up with something else so we keep learning.”
Since his arrival in England, the Nigeria international has played 38 matches for Leicester City in all competitions and has scored thrice.
The defensive midfielder is yet to open his account this term despite being an ever-present in Claude Puel’s 12th-placed side.
