Wilson Oruma
Daniel Oruma says his ex-international brother, Wilson Oruma, is in good mental state contrary to what the public were made to believe through the social media.
Reports online on Thursday claimed Oruma had hit the streets following a mental disorder off fallout of an alleged dupe by a pastor- friend.
However, one of Wilson’s brothers, Daniel, told Tribunesport exclusively on Friday that the story was concocted to achieve an ulterior goal.
“Nothing is wrong with my brother,” he stated.
“Wilson is okay. We were together in Lagos before I left for Warri for a church programme,” said Daniel who is the Senior Pastor of Pavilion of Grace International Ministry, Warri, Delta State.
”Before leaving for Warri, we drove round Lagos and he was sound and active. I spoke with him this (Friday) morning and I even asked him to invite the media to dispel the speculations, but he said he wouldn’t want to do that for personal reasons I will not want to disclose.”
Daniel Oruma also disclaimed arrangements being made purportedly by ex-internationals to raise funds for Oruma’s rehabilitation.
“I just don’t know where all these are coming from. If such a game would be played, won’t they first get in touch with the Oruma family? These are all concocted stories. May God forgive all perpetrators of this shameful act.”
