Arsenal transfer target Malcom facing disciplinary action at Bordeaux

Malcom has upset his Bordeaux bosses and is facing disciplinary action.

The Brazilian forward, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this month, was filmed on social media laughing and joking shortly after Tuesday night’s defeat to Caen.

Teammates Cafu and Otavio were also present in the video, shot outside the club’s stadium, and the trio have now been summoned to a meeting to be reprimanded.

“Bordeaux strongly condemn the video published on social media on Tuesday night outside the Matmut Atlantique by friends of Cafu, Malcom and Otavio,” read a statement from the Ligue 1 club.

“Faced with this lack of maturity, solidarity and respect towards the club and all its components, Bordeaux will summon the three players mentioned to a disciplinary hearing as soon as possible.”

Malcom has scored 18 goals in 80 games for Bordeaux and is on Arsenal’s transfer shortlist.

Arsene Wenger is looking to make new signings with Alexis Sanchez heading for the exit and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also on his radar.
