The double-header fixtures are scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, with both teams aiming to fine-tune their squads ahead of the continental tournament.
The Super Falcons, who are Africa’s most successful women’s football team, will be looking to use the friendlies to test their squad, improve team chemistry and give opportunities to both experienced players and new talents.
Historically, the Super Falcons have enjoyed a strong record against Cape Verde. During the 2023 WAFCON qualifiers, Nigeria secured a 2-1 away victory before recording a dominant 5-0 win at home.
