Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has emphasised that the team’s primary objective is to make Nigeria proud in their crucial World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
Nigeria will face the Amavubi of Rwanda in a decisive Matchday 5 encounter.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Amahoro Stadium on Thursday, the Al-Khalood defender acknowledged the constant pressure that comes with representing Nigeria.
“Playing for a big football nation like Nigeria comes with pressure and criticism—it’s part of the game.
“I’ve had discussions with the team, and we see the pressure as a privilege. Our focus is to make the fans proud,” Ekong stated.
Currently, Nigeria sits fifth in the group with three points, while Rwanda leads the standings with seven points.
