Nigeria defender, Stephen Eze has completed a move from Kano Pillars to Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Bulgarian top-flight side confirmed.
The African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2018 hero, Eze, was on Thursday unveiled by his new club.
Eze who was voted the Man of the Match in Nigeria’s 1-0 win over Libya at the just-ended CHAN in Morocco, told Tribunesport from his base that the move would give his career a new lease of life.
“I am Very excited to join Team Lokomotiv Plovdiv in Bulgaria. Many thanks for the most heartening welcome. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead in Bulgaria and I want to play a part in the success of the club.
“Thank you everyone who sent your best wishes and I hope to make you all proud!
“Finally I want to thank my agent, Dr Ojore Oka, for making this happen,” the towering defender said.
