A staunch supporter of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Mr Moshood Akindele, is dead and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Akindele, an electrical engineer by profession died around 10pm on Thursday, December, 7, 2017, shortly after taking his dinner. Efforts made to revive him after he suddenly slumped proved abortive as he was confirmed dead on arrival at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
His remains were interred the following day at the Ahmadiya burial ground, off Ibadan/Abeokuta expressway.
The late 3SC’s unalloyed supporter was committed to the well-being of the team as he was always ready to sacrifice his time, money and all other things he could offer to support the team to achieve optimal result at every point in time.
The deceased left behind his parents, siblings, wife, and four children. His friends, will tomorrow (Tuesday) organised a special prayer for the repose of his soul at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan.
