Super Eagles of Nigeria have confirmed they will defend their Unity Cup title in London later this year, Sporting Tribune reports.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) champions announced the decision via their verified X account (@NGSuperEagles), declaring: “Back in London to defend our title!”

The four-nation invitational tournament, featuring Nigeria, India, Jamaica, and Zimbabwe, will hold from May 26 to 30, 2026, at the Valley Stadium, Charlton, London.

Nigeria head into the competition as defending champions after winning the 2025 edition. In the final at Brentford Community Stadium, they defeated Jamaica 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Nigeria will face Zimbabwe in the first semi-final on May 26 at 7.30 pm. The fixture is a repeat of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying meetings.

Jamaica will take on India in the second semi-final on May 27 at 7.30 pm.

The third-place match and final will be played on May 30 at 7.30 pm at the same venue.

The Unity Cup continues to serve as a competitive platform for countries with large diaspora communities in the United Kingdom. Nigeria have won multiple editions of the tournament.

The competition will also provide head coach Eric Chelle and his team with preparation ahead of upcoming international friendlies against Portugal and Poland in June.
