It was a weekend defined by milestones and amazing stats across Europe’s top leagues, with titles decided and individual records highlighted in England, Spain, Italy and Germany.
In the Serie A, Inter Milan wrapped up the title with a 2-0 win over Parma, confirming their 21st league crown and continuing their recent dominance in Italy, while in the Premier League, Manchester United secured Champions League qualification after a win over Liverpool, and Arsenal strengthened their position at the top of the table. Tottenham also boosted their survival hopes with a key win over Aston Villa.
La Liga saw Barcelona move closer to another title after a win over Osasuna, while Real Madrid delayed celebrations with a victory over Espanyol.
In Germany, Bayern Munich were once again involved in a high-scoring draw, continuing a season defined by attacking output and unpredictable results.

Premier League
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes led the statistical charts for chance creation. He has created 5+ chances in 14 different Premier League games in 2025-26, a figure only Mesut Özil has bettered in a single season since 2003-04.
Fernandes has also created 120 chances this season, the highest by a Manchester United player in a single Premier League campaign since 2003-04.
Michael Carrick became only the sixth manager, and first English manager, to win 8 of his opening 9 home Premier League games, matching Antonio Conte’s record from 2016-17.
Since Ruben Amorim’s departure, Benjamin Sesko has scored 9 Premier League goals, the highest in that period.
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has recorded 13 goals and 10 assists in all competitions, becoming one of three Premier League players this season to reach double figures in both.
Bukayo Saka reached 150 direct goal contributions for Arsenal and also became the fourth-youngest player to reach 200 Premier League appearances.
Viktor Gyökeres became the third Premier League player to score 20+ goals across all competitions this season.
Junior Kroupi equalled the record for most Premier League goals by a teenager in a debut season with 12.
Tottenham recorded back-to-back league wins for the first time since the opening matches of the season, while Aston Villa managed just one touch in the opposition box in the first hour of their match.
Burnley conceded 71 Premier League goals this season, their third time reaching 70+ goals conceded.
La Liga
Vinícius Júnior continued his scoring form with 16 goals across all competitions in 2026. He also reached 20 goals and 10 assists this season, becoming only the second LaLiga player to do so.
Vinícius has now recorded five consecutive 20-goal seasons for Real Madrid.
Barcelona recorded 29 wins in 34 league matches, the highest in LaLiga history at that stage. They also extended their winning run to 10 matches, the longest in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
Ferran Torres recorded his ninth game-winning goal of the season.
Fermín López reached 30 goal contributions, while he and Lamine Yamal are tied on 17 assists each.
Robert Lewandowski has scored 18 goals this season at the age of 37.
Serie A
Inter Milan secured their 21st Serie A title after a 2-0 win over Parma.
Cristian Chivu became the fifth Inter coach to win the Scudetto in his first season.
Marcus Thuram has scored at least 13 league goals in each of the last three seasons.
AC Milan registered an Expected Goals total of 0.27 against Sassuolo, their lowest since 2018.
Bundesliga
Patrik Schick scored nine goals in his last six Bundesliga matches, the highest in Europe’s top five leagues over that period.
Michael Olise registered 19 Bundesliga assists, equalling Bruno Fernandes’ total across Europe’s top leagues this season.
Bayern Munich scored 116 league goals, matching one of the highest totals in Europe’s top five leagues since 1963-64.
