Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta, has landed a new coaching job in Dubai.

According to sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Iniesta is all set to start his managerial career with his first head coach job, agreed to manage Gulf United FC, which plays in the UAE First Division.

Romano added that the 42-year-old is signing for Gulf United in Dubai, after both parties agreed on terms with signatures to follow.

The club was founded in 2019 and achieved back-to-back promotions in 2022 and 2023 to make it to the top-flight in the UAE.

In the ongoing season, Gulf United are currently tenth in the table of 15 teams, having managed only 25 points from 26 games.

Iniesta, therefore, will have his task cut out to turn around the fortunes of the club next season.
