The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed 10 countries that will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, Qatar 2026.

The final place was decided on Saturday as Uganda defeated Ghana 8-7 on penalties in the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 play-off.

The match ended 2-2 after normal time at CMVI-T11, before Uganda held their nerve in the shootout. The result confirmed Uganda as the 10th African team for the tournament, joining Mozambique as the two sides that progressed through the play-off route.
