Bayern Munich Chief Executive Officer, Jan-Christian Dreesen, has dismissed speculation linking Luis Diaz and Michael Olise with moves away from the Bundesliga champions, insisting both players remain central to the club’s plans for the 2026-27 season.
Speaking at a press club event in Munich on Tuesday, Dreesen said Bayern had received no formal approaches for either winger despite persistent reports linking Olise with Real Madrid and Diaz with a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
“It’s surprising to see what gets said when you know the truth yourself; it’s interesting,” he said.
Dreesen moved to end speculation over Olise’s future, saying the France international would remain at the Allianz Arena.
“Olise will obviously be at Bayern next season,” he said, adding that the club had received “zero” contact from Real Madrid.
“There was not a single letter, fax or email either.”

The Bayern chief gave a similar response when asked about Diaz, who joined the German champions in 2025 after leaving Liverpool.
“The same applies there: no calls, nothing else.
“We’d be foolish to do so. We have such a good team; let them play and score goals.”
Both Diaz and Olise are under contract until 2029, giving Bayern a strong position to resist transfer interest.
Olise enjoyed an impressive campaign after joining Bayern in 2024, establishing himself as one of the club’s most influential attacking players.
His performances for France during their run to the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup have further increased interest from Europe’s leading clubs.
Diaz has also become an important part of Bayern’s attack since his arrival, adding pace, creativity and experience to the squad.
Bayern have made it clear that neither player is available for transfer as they prepare to defend their Bundesliga title and challenge for the UEFA Champions League.
Dreesen also expressed confidence that England captain Harry Kane would extend his stay in Munich.
The striker’s current contract expires at the end of next season, but the Bayern CEO said both parties are keen to reach an agreement.
“There’s a strong desire (to extend) on both sides. We’ll have to see how that desire aligns.”
Kane celebrated his 33rd birthday on Tuesday.
Kane enjoyed another prolific campaign last season, scoring 61 goals and providing seven assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most consistent goalscorers and played a major role in the club’s domestic success.
With the new season approaching, Bayern’s leadership has sought to end uncertainty surrounding three of their biggest stars by reaffirming their commitment to keeping Diaz, Olise and Kane at the club.
