Abdullahi savours good start at Bursaspor

Nigeria international Shehu Abdullahi has said that he is looking forward to having a robust stay with his new team, Bursaspor of Turkey after an impressive start.

The Super Eagles midfielder, it will be recalled, joined the Turkish Super Lig side from Anorthosis Famagusta FC of Cyprus.

“I am pleased with the start I have made at Bursaspor in my first three matches.

“I still have a long way to justify the club’s investment in bringing to Turkey, but I would love to assure the fans that I would continue to work very hard for this team to put smiles on the faces of the fans,” Abdullahi who was adjudged Man of the Match in the World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Zambia in Uyo told www.scorenigeria.com.ng.

The former Kano Pillars player stated that he is also looking forward to making his World Cup debut in Russia.

“We would give our best to ensure Nigeria has an exceptional outing in Russia come June. We are excited and I promise Nigerians we will make them proud,” Abdullahi, who once played for Kuwaiti Premier League side Qadsia SC and Primeira Liga side C.F. Uniao said.
