Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has said he hopes to move to a bigger league in Europe soon after he has shone in Cyprus.
“I am open to offers and I wish to move to a bigger league in Europe,” the former Kano Pillars and Plateau United star said.
“It is left in the hands of my agent and I will see what he has on the table at the end of this month.”
He has previously played in Kuwait and Portugal.
Shehu has shown class at Cypriot club Anorthosis.
However, his club fell 3-0 at home to Apoel Nicosia Wednesday to be knocked off the top of the league table.
The defender was involved for the whole duration as their 17-game unbeaten run got halted
“I never expected that we could lose this match at home considering our present form,” he told SCORENigeria
“It was really painful, we have dropped to second position on the table, anyway that is football,
“We will keep pushing as a team and hopefully we will win the league.”
