Abramovic concludes plans to sack Conte

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has already made his mind to sack Premier League winning manager Antonio Conte in the summer as the billionaire has already begun who will succeed him at Stamford Bridge according to reports in Spain.

Chelsea romped to the Premier League title last season but this term have struggled to balance both domestic and European duties as the Blues are nine points adrift league leaders Manchester City.

Marca claims that the 48-year-old Italian coach no longer on talking terms with the Abramovich and all communications are going through Marina Granovskaia, a director who plays a large part in the team’s transfer business.

Marca reported that former Juventus boss is aware that Chelsea are already considering their options for next season as Conte is keen to remain in charge of the Blues until the end of the season.

The report suggests that the breakdown relationship between Conte and Abramovich can be traced back to the handling of Diego Costa’s future during the summer.

Abramovich is claimed to have considered Conte’s actions ‘disrespectful’ after the Chelsea manager sent a blunt text message to the striker, which told him that he was no longer part of the first-team plans.

Conte has made no secret of his desire to return to home country Italy one day.
