Former IVY League and Super Green Football Club, United States of America top striker Alexander Adelabu has expressed his desires to play for the national team if an invitation is extended to him.
Adelabu in a whatsapp chat with Tribunesport said that it has been his dream to dorn the country’s colour at the senior level and that he will be willing to take up the challenges at any giving opportunity in his career.
According to the former Dartmouth College Soccer player who helped his Nigerian owned Super Green club placed third in the American Soccer League (ASL) this season hinted of his trials in Portugal and Malta but that he opted to stay back in the United States of America in order to assist his club gain promotion next season saying,” it was a great season all around.
The coaching staff and the players adapted to the rigors of a professional and very competitive league which helped us compete at a high level”, he said.
Adelabu said”it is the desires of any Nigerian player to dream of playing for his country and I am no exception as I eye wearing the colour of the country at any given time in my career.
I promise to give it all my best if invited,” he said.
