AFCON 2019: Eagles beat Seychelles 3-1 in Asaba

The Super Eagles of Nigeria finished their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign on a good note after defeated Seychelles 3-1 in Asaba on Friday evening.

Odion Ighalo scored first from spot kick after Leicester City midfielder was brought down inside bos 18 while Galatasaray forward, Henry Onyekuru added the second with a beautiful header.

The Seychelles side although equalized Ighalo’s effort, Levante star, Moses Simon added the last goal almost immediately he came in for injured Ighalo.

Super Eagles is expected to face the Pharaoh of Egypt in an International friendly on Tuesday in Asaba, Delta State.
