Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been declared fit and available for selection in the semi-final clash against South Africa.
According to the media officer of the team, Babafemi Raji said Osimhen has returned to training and will part of the squad that will face Bafana Bafana later tomorrow in first semifinals match scheduled for Stade de la Paix, Bouake stadium in Côte d’Ivorie.
Raji said “Victor Osimhen has joined the team in Bouaké and has trained with the squad today (Tuesday) and will be available for South Africa match,” he said.
Osimhen was a major doubt for the match after failing to travel with the rest of the team to Bouake on Monday night due to abdominal discomfort.
The rest of the squad departed Abidjan for Bouake on Monday night ahead of the last four match.
It will be recalled that the striker has scored one goal with one assist in five appearances for the Super Eagles at the ongoing AFCON in Côte d’Ivorie.
