The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) sports ministers from the Republic of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Uganda, Presidents of member associations from the three nations, and chairpersons of the Local Organising Committees (LOC) has held a high-level meeting in Kampala, Uganda to reaffirm their shared commitment to the successful hosting and delivery of the TotalEnergies 2027 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tagged “PAMOJA TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF acting General Secretary, Samson Adamu, who commended the three host nations on the progress made so far, reiterated Confederation’s full commitment to the successful hosting of the 2027 AFCON.
He emphasised the importance of coordination in planning, timely execution, disciplined delivery, and a unified regional approach towards hosting a successful continental tournament.
The host nations expressed their appreciation to CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe and the CAF team for its support, guidance, technical support, and confidence in the PAMOJA partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with CAF in delivering a successful and memorable TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2027.
