Afelokhai in for Uzoho

Enyimba’s Theophilus Afelokhai has been handed his maiden Nigeria call-up after first-choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was ruled out for upcoming games against South Africa and Uganda.

The former Kano Pillars safehands will battle for the no. 1 spot with club teammate, Ikechuwku Ezenwa – whom interestingly is behind the 30-year-old in the club’s pecking order – and Chippa United’s Daniel Akpeyi.
