Gareth Bale
Agent Jonathan Barnett has refused to rule out a future move to Italy for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
The 29-year-old Wales international has been at the Santiago Bernabeu since joining from Tottenham in an £85million switch in summer 2013.
Bale has scored 94 goals in 207 appearances, but has not found the net in 10 consecutive La Liga appearances and was substituted just after the hour mark of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Valencia.
His future in the Spanish capital has been in doubt for some time and Cristiano Ronaldo’s switch to Juventus last summer increased the speculation that Italy’s Serie A could be his next destination.
And, when quizzed about that possibility, Barnett did nothing to dampen the talk that Bale could follow in the footsteps of the Portuguese star.

“Nothing is impossible,” Barnett told Tuttosport.
“The truth is that Gareth right now is happy in Madrid but if you think about the future, don’t rule it out.
“Ronaldo at Juventus? That move makes people view Serie A differently and any top player will now be considering Italy as a possible destination.”
