Akwa Ibom FA boss, other top shots drum support for Akinwumi

Ahead of the fast approaching September 30 elections into the Board of the Nigeria Football Federation, the Akwa Ibom State FA Chairman Imoh Atatt and some members of the Executive Committee have pitched their tents firmly with the choice of Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, NFF presidential aspirant, as the candidate to help revive the fortunes of Nigerian Football with a new board expected to lead the affair of Nigerian Football.

Attat stated via a phone chat with Tribunesports disclosed that Akinwunmi has no problem and we are with him, his temperament and experience coupled with generosity stands him out from the rest. He is personality personified.

Also, Mr. Emmanuel Brown, a member of the Board while speaking ahead of the elections posited that the outgoing NFF 1st Vice President have the experience to fix grey areas in Nigerian Football and its administration, he is very well equipped to take over from outgoing NFF President Amaju Pinnick.

And ex international, Friday Expo who is also a board member , Akwa Ibom FA exclaimed, “my vote is for Seyi, I believe he has the experience to turn things around and I believe my Chairman and other members are also for Seyi.”
