Al Hilal’s Ighalo backs Cristiano Ronaldo to shine at Al Nassr despite early struggles

Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo has backed Al Nassr star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo to succeed in the Saudi Arabian league, despite his early struggles.

Ronaldo who joined Al Nassr in a big-money deal after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has failed to score in his two appearances for the Saudi side.

Asked if he is worried about Ronaldo’s arrival in Saudi Arabia, Ighalo said: “No, but Ronaldo is a legend. He is the best, for me, he is the greatest of all time.

“Ronaldo is a legend. He is the best, for me, is the GOAT,” Ighalo old Oma Sports TV.

“I have too much respect for him, admiration for him.

“He is going to play for his own team and he will score goals and me, I am going to play for my own team and I will score goals. So we will see how it goes. I wish him all the best in Al Nassr, then I will do my job for Al Hilal and we will see at the end of the season.
