Alex Iwobi named Everton’s Players’ Player of the Season

Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has been awarded Everton’s Players’ Player of the Season accolade.

This recognition comes as a result of Iwobi’s remarkable improvement throughout the current season, building on his strong performances in the previous year. The 27-year-old displayed versatility by excelling in various positions for the Toffees during the 2022/23 campaign.

With two goals and an impressive eight assists, Iwobi contributed significantly to Everton’s overall performance. This marks the first time Iwobi has received this prestigious award since joining Everton from Arsenal in 2019.

Additionally, Everton narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League, securing a crucial 1-0 victory against Bournemouth on the final day of the season.
