Alexis Sanchez: If Arsenal do this we can win the title

ALEXIS SANCHEZ reckons Arsenal have the potential to win a heap of trophies this year.

The Chile international has been in incredible form in recent weeks, bagging six goals and four assists as Arsenal sit joint third in the Premier League, two points off the lead.

The Gunners are also looking good in the Champions League having already secured qualification from Group A after four games.

And Sanchez, who’s been deployed as a centre-forward for most of the season, says if Arsenal can keep their team spirit together, they’ve got a shot to win every competition they’re in.

“I think we’re even more determined to achieve something and win the Premier League, but you have to take it slow,” he told Arsenal Player.

“We have a great team, our ambitions are high and we want to win the league.

“We’ve got some new players and a fantastic squad. Regardless of who’s playing, we all need to be 100 per cent focused on our work with the team and the club.

“Sometimes you might have an off day and you need a player to come off the bench and help you out, so that’s why the squad players are just as important as the starting XI.

“Everything comes down to what happens from now on. All games are different and anything can happen in football.

“An important player might get injured – someone might leave, someone else might stay. It’s tough to keep it going, but if we stick together and keep putting the running in, I think this team can win it all.”
