General Manager of Shooting stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Rasheed Balogun has said coach Fatai Amoo who just joined the team will bring out the best of the team when the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League begins later in the year.
Speaking with Tribunesports, Balogun, who was optimistic that 3SC will do well in the coming season with the calibre of coach they went for.
He said Amoo is a very good coach who can restore the lost glory of the team who first won laurel for the country in Africa, adding that “he is one of the first-class coaches in Nigeria and as such I expect a good outing from the team and the technical crew.”
“We have hired one of the best coaches in the country who can make things happen with our present crop of players and the management of the club is ready to give the team and the coach all necessary support to achieve the desired goals,” he said.
Amoo was unveiled last Thursday by the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Barrister Abayomi Oke, alongside the chairman, House Committee on Sports, Honourable Fatai Adesina.
