The Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has appreciated the for its role in promoting sports development in the state, just as he promised to give a facelift to the four international stadia  across the State.

Amosun, who spoke at the finals of the GTBank/Ogun State Principals’ Cup season five at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta,  said there was no way talents could be discovered without having this kind of competition among schools in the state as the competition was aimed at encouraging the students. He added that the banning of all non-sporting activities  at stadia was part of plans to  promote sporting activities.

“Thank you for identifying with us, thank for identifying with our youth, there is no attainment in sports that they cannot achieve with this lovely initiative. I am very sure they are happy seeing this, I want to believe we are seeing the future of Nigeria here today.
