Former Flying Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Emeka Amadi is the first appointment made by Emmanuel Amuneke after he was presented as the new coach of the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Tuesday.
Both coaches worked together at the Nigeria U-17 and U-20s.
The former Barcelona winger also disclosed his new post includes overseeing Tanzania’s age-group team.

“We are also in charge of the youth programmes of the country which is an added responsibility,” said Amuneke, who was a long-term target of Tanzania.
He said top target is to qualify the Taifa Stars for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
“As a coach you must have a target for yourself without anyone giving you a target,” Amuneke.
“The prime target is qualification to the AFCON 2019 and God will see us through.
“I am a positive person right from my playing days and I know with hard work and commitment from the players we can achieve our aim.
