Anderlecht head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck is unhappy with the contribution of Henry Onyekuru in the last two Belgian First Division A matches.
The Belgian tactician stated that the Nigerian international’s dribbles were negative over the course of 90 minutes.
”Henry has to stop thinking that he’s only about his goals… The sum of his dribbles must be positive after 90 minutes. Not negative, as now,” Vanhaezebrouck told nieuwsblad.be.
”Especially if he has so much space and as little opposition as against Kortrijk, he should avoid simple ball losses,” he said about the 20-year-old attacker.
”Yes, last week against Mouscron he scored the winning goal, but I expect more from him.”
Onyekuru, who is on loan at the club from English side Everton, is Anderlecht’s top scorer in the league with seven goals from 15 appearances this season.
Recent reports have indicated that Onyekuru is on the radar of Spanish giants FC Barcelona, German club Borussia Dortmund, Spanish outfit Sevilla and Italian powerhouse AC Milan
