‘Angry’ Ronaldo ‘rejects’ new Real Madrid contract

According to reports in Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo has turned down a new contract with the Spanish and European champions and demanded a transfer away from Madrid at the end of the season.

Ronaldo has already confirmed he doesn’t “want to renew” his current deal, which expires in 2021, and is now determined to leave the club next summer.

Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre, who works for TV station El Chiringuito, claims the Portuguese superstar has already told Real President Florentino Perez of his intentions.

Aguirre goes on to say that Ronaldo wants to leave on June 30 for a ‘reasonable price’.

Real Madrid, however, have rejected his demand, something that has only heightened tensions between club and player.

Despite being a ‘Madridista’, Ronaldo no longer feels like the main man at the Bernabeu, and he feels the new offer is just another example of how little ‘Los Blancos’ value him.

Will Ronaldo leave next summer? If yes, which club do you think he would move to? Let us know in the comments.
