ANTHONY Joshua has sent out a message to Tyson Fury by warning he is ready to ‘go through the division’ one by one if it means keeping heavyweight boxing entertaining.

Joshua beat Wladimir Klitschko in 11 rounds on Saturday at Wembley to unify the IBF, WBA and IBO titles and extend his record to 19 straight wins since turning professional, and the Ukrainian has the option in the fight’s contract for a rematch.

But in his Big Fight diary for the Evening Standard on Tuesday after his 11th-round stoppage, Joshua wrote: ‘[My team] will lay out the options on the table and I’ll pick one but I think I already showed on Saturday night I can knock anyone out.

‘I always embrace a challenge and I’ve never shied away from competition — I don’t back down from anyone. So if it works out for my career, I’ll definitely relish the challenge against Tyson Fury or anyone else for that matter.’

Joshua has the world at his feet and is ready to embark on a era of heavyweight division dominance, after his come-of-age victory over the veteran two-time champion.

The Watford-born boxer produced one of the great heavyweight clashes, but he admits he can improve and revealed he will sit down with trainer Rob McCracken to watch the bout back over the coming weeks.

Joshua will for now take time out from his rigorous gym-bound training to receive physio treatment and live a relatively normal life back at home with his mother, but the Olympic champion knows his rivals will be lining up in a bid to knock him down – with Fury the name on everyone’s lips.

Joshua continued: ‘The fans want the Fury fight and I do, too. It’s not like I am calling someone out randomly or drawing attention to someone random.

‘I’ve heard and seen people talking about that fight and it feels that we’re heading in that direction. I like to entertain and if that’s a fight that will bring entertainment to the sport again, then I would love to be involved.

‘If I have to go through everyone in the divisions, then great. I am not hearing, “Let’s see Fury v Wilder or Wilder v Parker” it’s always, “We want AJ versus Wilder, Fury and Parker”.

‘So if I have to go through the division to keep it entertaining, then that’s what we’ll do – take them out one by one.’
