Arsenal can do ‘something special’ this season, insists Francis Coquelin

Francis Coquelin believes Arsenal are capable of ‘something special’ this season.

The Gunners picked up just one point from their first two Premier League games this season but Arsene Wenger’s men are now on seven match winning run.

Coquelin played 90 minutes as the Gunners smashed Ludogorets 6-0 in their Champions League clash at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

And the Frenchman believes the strength of the Gunners’ squad this season means they can do ‘something special’ on all four fronts.

‘There’s a good buzz around the squad, you can see it,’ Coquelin told BT Sport.

‘It’s not just the starting XI but the players coming on. At the weekend with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keiran Gibbs coming on, they put a shift in.

‘That’s going to be the main thing to do this season, to involve everyone and all be on the same board. We can do something special this year.’
