Arsenal have added their name to the
list of clubs interested in signing Chelsea
striker Tammy Abraham, according to re-
ports.
The 23-year-old has barely featured for
the Blues since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival in
January, and made just two appearances
for the club after the middle of February.
Reports in Germany have suggested the centre forward – who is valued at £40million by Chelsea was involved in a rejected player-plus-cash bid from the Stamford Bridge outfit for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland earlier this week.
But The Telegraph claim that while the
Champions League winners certainly ex-
plored that option, Abraham’s boyhood
club Arsenal are also interested, but they
would likely have to sell before they could
hope to reach Chelsea’s valuation.
The Gunners have France forward, Al-
exandre Lacazette, who has entered the
final 12 months of his deal, while fellow
striker Eddie Nketiah is also expected to
move on this summer.
The report adds Abraham has also been
made available to Inter Milan and Tot-
tenham, with Chelsea also keen on their
former striker Romelu Lukaku as well as
England captain Harry Kane.
The same outlet insists Abraham is likely
to bring his 17-year stay and his five-year
spell in the first team at Stamford Bridge
to an end this summer, and the club will
only move ahead with trying to sign another once he is sold.
