THIERRY Henry believes Alexis Sanchez would be the only undisputed Arsenal player who would make it into Tottenham’s team.
Spurs are enjoying their most successful Premier League campaign to date, yielding a club-record 74 points so far this year. Harry Kane has propelled Mauricio Pochettino’s side into second place with 20 goals during the campaign.
The Gunners are 14 points behind their north London rivals with only six games to go in this uninspiring campaign.
And ahead of the derby clash on Sunday, Henry admitted that the power shift in the capital has been palpable this season.
‘It’s difficult for me as an Arsenal man at the minute but you have to be honest,’ he told Sky Sports.
‘I can only see right now Alexis Sanchez getting into that team without anyone saying: “How come he’s in the team?”
‘All the others, I think people will argue with that… but that doesn’t mean Tottenham are going to win easily.
‘If I was going to the Lane the way it is at the minute and people were thinking: “We cannot win any big games away from home,” and we can stop them winning the title, I would wake up that day thinking: “This is my day today.”‘
Arsenal have not finished behind Spurs in the league since the 1994-95 season but are in serious danger of doing so this year.
The clash at White Hart Lane is a must-win for Arsene Wenger’s side while Pochettino will look to heap more pressure on league-leaders Chelsea after defeating Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
