YAYA Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, has revealed that both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing the Manchester City midfielder, but that a move to either would be “impossible”.
Dimitri told Sky Sports News that Toure is likely to sign a pre-contractual agreement with another club in January, this after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Sky Blues manager, Pep Guardiola, who left him out of their 21-man Champions League squad.
Seluk stated that the Ivory Coast international has also had offers from China, Turkey, Italy and the United States.
Toure is in the final season of his contract at the Etihad, having joined the club from Barcelona six-years ago.
“Yaya in January can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs abroad,” Seluk told Sky Sports. “He will have many offers from clubs. China and America of course they want him, but we will have a lot of offers from England and Europe.
“He is in very good shape, very good condition; I think he lost seven kilogrammes.
“Maybe that’s not good enough for Guardiola, but then Zlatan Ibrahimovic wasn’t good enough for him (at Barcelona),” Seluk stated.
Toure, a four time winner of the African Footballer of the Year award, has played 269 times for City across all competitions; contributing directly to over 100 goals.
