But Santi Cazorla misses training with achilles injury and is a doubt for the match at the Emirates

ARSENAL’S stars have been snapped enjoying themselves in training ahead of their crucial North London derby against Tottenham.

Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were among those looking confident ahead of the key clash with Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

But Santi Cazorla sat out training this morning with an achilles injury and is a doubt for the derby.

Arsenal and Tottenham meet for the first time since the Gunners sensationally finished above their rivals for the 21st year running.

Just when it looked like Spurswould finally end two decades of hurt, they spectacularly lost 5-1 at relegated Newcastle on the final day of last season.

Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa meant they moved up to 2nd despite Arsene Wenger being under constant pressure and Tottenham pushing Leicester all the way for the title.

However very few are calling for Wenger’s head now, as the Gunners lie in 2nd place, level on points with leaders Man City.

Arsenal haven’t lost since their 4-3 defeat at home to Liverpool on the first day of the season.

And they’ll look to build on their 4-1 thrashing of Sunderland last week, when Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud both struck twice.

Last season’s Premier League meetings between the Arsenal and Tottenham both ended all square, with the two sides drawing 1-1 at the Emirates and 2-2 at White Hart Lane.
