The initiator of Mark D’ Ball Basketball Championship, Mark Igoche, has lauded Nigeria for its remarkable performance and groundbreaking accomplishments at the Basketball Africa League (BAL) 2024 Season 4 hosted in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital.
While Nigeria’s representatives, Rivers Hoopers emerged as the bronze winners at the championship, head coach, Ogoh Odaudu, was awarded the prestigious title of Coach of the Year. Adding to the list of achievements was also the appointment of the President of FIBA Africa Zone 3, Colonel Samuel Ahmedu (rtd) to the FIBA Africa Executive Committee.
“The collective success of Rivers Hoopers, Ogoh Odaudu and Colonel Samuel Ahmedu exemplifies Nigeria’s unwavering dedication to excellence and sets a new standard for basketball in the region.
