Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale was the only Real Madrid star not to pay tribute to Zinedine Zidane.
The Welshman has thrown his future at the European champions in doubt after admitting he is looking to leave the club in search of first team football.
Zidane stunned Real Madrid after announcing he will depart the club after winning his third Champions League trophy in a row.
Madrid players including Cristiano Ronaldo flocked to social media to pay their respects to the Frenchman.
But Bale, who recently congratulated team-mate Lucas Vazquez on the arrival of his baby boy, failed to acknowledge his departure. He is the only player who featured in the Champions League final not to.
Ronaldo wrote on Twitter: “I’m just proud of being your player, Mister, thank you for so much.”
Toni Kroos added: “Thank you Mister, It has been a pleasure.”
Brazil midfielder Casemiro also said: “I have no words to thank you for everything you have done for this team. It has been a privilege to have my idol as my coach.”
It throws further question marks over Bale’s relationship with Zidane.
Bale has been linked with a staggering £200million switch to Manchester United.
