Eden Hazard
At the final stages of the 2018 World Cup, the subject of the 2018 Ballon d’Or has arisen.
Many will argue that the star player on this year’s World Cup winning side should be crowned the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner.
If that happens, it will be the first time in a decade that neither Leo Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo lifted the trophy.
But Chelsea star Eden Hazard still believes the Ballon d’Or will go to either Messi or Ronaldo.
In the build up to the France semi-final, Hazard has dropped an unsubtle hint that the Ballon d’Or is fixed.
As reported by Marca, Hazard gave the following response to who will win this year’s Ballon d’Or:
It will be for Messi or Cristiano, it is written like that.
