Barcelona have been linked with a move for Paul Pogba ever since he broke into the Juventus first-team. But a move for the French playmaker has never materialised, with Manchester United winning the race for his signature in the end.
But Pogba has been very inconsistent at Old Trafford, and does not share a good relationship with José Mourinho. By the end of the season, he could be on his way out of United, despite winning the World Cup with France.
Barcelona and Juventus have been labeled as the favourites to sign Pogba, and Gerard Piqué and Luis Suárez hasn’t helped things with their comments that they would whole-heartedly welcome the 25-year old midfielder to the Camp Nou.
And now, club vice-president Jordi Mestre has also not refused to rule out a potential move, despite the fact that the squad is very settled and the midfield doesn’t need any further reinforcements.

Mestre said, “We do not talk about players that are not at our club.
“What I read is that Pogba is unhappy at Manchester United and his agent, Mino Raiola, has been more vehement in efforts to sell him.
“But I have not read that he says he wants to sign for the club. Yes, he is a player of unquestionable quality in the eyes of all the world.”
Mestre implied that Mino Raiola had tried to negotiate an exit for Paul Pogba, with Barça being one of the clubs approached by the agent over a transfer.
He also said that Pogba was unhappy at United, and praised the Frenchman.
