Niko Kovac
Bayern Munich have announced Niko Kovac will take over from Jupp Heynckes at the end of the season.
The current Eintracht Frankfurt boss will replace Heynckes in the summer, and has signed a three-year deal at the Allianz Arena.
In order to gain the 46-year-old’s services, the Bavarians have reportedly paid £1.9 million.
Frankfurt are currently fifth in the Bundesliga, two points off fourth spot.
Bayern have already wrapped up the Bundesliga title this season, and are into the Champions League semi-finals after defeating Sevilla.
They will face Real Madrid over two legs, with the winner facing either Liverpool or Roma in the final.
Kovac has previous history with Bayern, having played for the club between 2001-2003, in a successful career where he captained the Croatia national team.
