Former middleweight champion, Billy Joe Saunders, has bet an astonishing £70,000 on Tyson Fury to beat WBC title holder, Deontay Wilder this weekend.
Saunders uploaded a video which showed him in a Ladbrokes shop lumping on his friend to win at odds of 11/8 – meaning he will claim a total of £166,250, should the ‘Gypsy King’ emerge victorious.
Wilder, however, in his reaction said Saunders will end up with nothing.
“That’s a stupid move?” Wilder told ESNews when asked about the bet.
“He should have kept that money. When he becomes broke (sic) he gonna remember what he did.
“That’s stupid, that’s stupid, I will make sure he regrets it. I will make sure that he doesn’t make no money.
“I promise him that, I guarantee you that, you made a stupid move.”

Saunders and Wilder have clashed previously as the pair came face-to-face in a Belfast Nando’s, prompting a near brawl in the restaurant.
Despite appearing to make up at Fury’s bout against Francesco Pianeta a few days later, there is still clearly an underlying rivalry between the two men.
“I would rather you bet on me and lied to him that you bet on him,” Wilder continued.
“Any fool that bet against me, they (sic) gonna lose.
“I made a lot of people rich just off betting, no-one has made no money betting against me, but I’ve made many people rich betting with me.”
